STONES – TEMPORARY ART INSTALLATION IN PUBLIC SPACE BY IVAN MOUDOV
“Stones” occupies an alley in the southern section of the National Library garden in Sofia. Within the urban context the installation was almost invisible, being merged with the existing pebble-covered alley. Provocative and challenging the senses, the work was situated without interrupting the existing pedestrian circulation in the garden and it was possible to bypass the installation. The project was with free public access.
The project was approved in a competition, organized by National Fund Culture of the Ministry of Culture as part of the Cultural program of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2018.
